小伙伴们，大家好。在今年第一篇周记的开头，我想祝福大家2016新年快乐，也感谢那些每周一都读我周记的你们，不管上一周的比赛结果如何，你们一直都在。一转眼，我写周记也有四年多的时间了(暑假时会停更)。尽管有的时候我会不想写周记，但是我一直把这个习惯坚持了下来。但是我也知道，我的话语很难愈合那些坏结果留下的伤口。至少，我可以通过周记来表达自己的情感，让大家知道我们拼尽了全力。对于写周记，我充满期待。很幸运，我认为我们在16年开了个好头，充满动力。现在，我们终于告别了连续不胜(本该早点告别的)。
Hi everyone.I want to start the first post of the year wishing you a happy 2016 and saying thanks to all for reading this blog every Monday, no matter what the score in the latest game is. It’s been more than four years since I’m here with you week after week (with theexceptionof the summer holidays) and I keep seeing this as a good habit, although there were weeks when I didn’t feel like writing, and I know that thewound of a bad resultcan’t be healed just with words… At last I can write a post feeling that we’ve done our duty during the weekend. I was looking forward to it… Luckily, I feel that we have started 2016 with energy and that our negative streak (much longer than it should be) has beenleft behind…
有很多人询问我球队连续不胜时的感受。我必须要说，我们只有一个想法，那就是每天都努力工作，集中注意力，试着去扭转这样的局面。在去年最后一场对阵切尔西的比赛中，大家应该已经看到了我所说的。虽然我们没赢，但是那场比赛的我们充满精神、力量和勇气。最终，我们在周六对阵斯旺西的比赛中取得了胜利。你可以看出这场比赛是多么的艰难，但是我们配得上三分。我希望这是一大波连胜的开始，掌控权在我们手里。过去几个赛季，斯旺西有几名优秀的球员，对我们来说他们总是一个难缠的对手，但这次我们战胜了他们，几乎是以最好的方式开启了2016年。
Many of you have asked about how we felt as the gameswent byand the team didn’t win. I have to say that our only thought was to work well day after day,stay focusedand try to revert this situation. In our last game of 2015, against Chelsea, I think everybody saw what I’m talking about. There wasdynamism, courage and energy although we couldn’t win. Finally, we did it on Saturday against Swansea. You could see how tough it was, but I think we deserved the three points. I hope this is going to be the start ofa good run of results. Itdepends onus. They were a difficult opponent with good players who have made things tough for us in the last few seasons, but this time we were able to win so we start 2016 in the best possible way.

The Christmas period is gone now after three games in seven days and we have a full week ahead to prepare theFA Cupgame against Sheffield United. It’s a good time totake a breakand remain calm after such a busy calendar.

This season, the race for the Premier League title is very open, with a good number of teams in the top positions separated by just a few points. Let’s see what happens in January but I think that having so many competitors is good for the show. The differences between the teams in England are not as big as in other leagues, and that’s something we can see this season. You play at a very high paceregardless ofwho is your rival, and if you don’t give the maximum, then it’s not easy to impose your quality. All the teams are struggling to geteasy winsin all the games and that’s why I think that things are still far from being decided.

In Spain, la Liga is getting very interesting. Atletico climbed to the top spot following Barcelona’s draw at Espanyol. Two years ago, Simeone’s team already showed that theycan copewith the pressure and be a title contender.

There was a great, thrilling game in Mestalla on Sunday, with goals and a final draw between Valencia and Real Madrid. None of them were too happy with the score.
